When the umpire is a kid, too.

In many youth leagues, the umpires are paid, 14 to 16 year old, former players. As fans of professional baseball, we are used to jeering and yelling insults at the umpires. Along with beer and hot dogs, it's traditionally part of the fun of attending a baseball game. This is wholly inappropriate in a youth league game. It can get you ejected from the park or cause your kid's team to forfeit the game. The umpires are kids too, and you wouldn't want anyone to treat your kid like that.
